About this lesson

A girl finds a mysterious letter in an old bookshop. The letter turns out to be a note from the old shopkeeper, who wants her to have a book.

    This place is very old, and there are many books.

    Tā ná le yì běn shū.

    She picked up a book.

    There is a letter in the book!

  5. 信上写着：给小美。

  8. 老爷爷笑着说：“是我写的。”

    Lǎo yéye xiào zhe shuō: “Shì wǒ xiě de.”

    The old man said with a smile: "I wrote it."

  9. “这本书给你，你喜欢吗？”

    “Zhè běn shū gěi nǐ, nǐ xǐhuan ma?”

    "This book is for you. Do you like it?"

  10. 小美很高兴。

    Xiǎo Měi hěn gāoxìng.

    Xiaomei was very happy.
