Jīntiān Xiǎo Lín lái jīchǎng shàngbān.
Today Xiao Lin came to work at the airport.
王老板说：“你好！请进！”
Wáng lǎobǎn shuō: “Nǐ hǎo! Qǐngjìn!”
Boss Wang said, “Hello! Come in!”
小林很高兴，也很累。
Xiǎo Lín hěn gāoxìng, yě hěn lèi.
Xiao Lin was very happy, and very tired too.
王老板说：“我们来比赛吧。”
Wáng lǎobǎn shuō: “Wǒmen lái bǐsài ba.”
Boss Wang said, “Let's have a contest.”
“我问，你们回答。”
“Wǒ wèn, nǐmen huídá.”
“I ask, you answer.”
大刚笑了，他很高兴。
Dà Gāng xiào le, tā hěn gāoxìng.
Da Gang laughed. He was very happy.
大刚说：“我在这儿工作三年了。”
Dà Gāng shuō: “Wǒ zài zhèr gōngzuò sān nián le.”
Da Gang said, “I have worked here for three years.”
小林没说话，她看她的本子。
Xiǎo Lín méi shuōhuà, tā kàn tā de běnzi.
Xiao Lin said nothing. She looked at her notebook.
第一个问题：洗手间在哪儿？
Dì yī gè wèntí: xǐshǒujiān zài nǎr?
First question: where is the restroom?
大刚说：“在东边！”
Dà Gāng shuō: “Zài dōngbian!”
Da Gang said, “On the east side!”
王老板说：“对了。”
Wáng lǎobǎn shuō: “Duì le.”
Boss Wang said, “Correct.”
第二个问题：北京的飞机几点到？
Dì'èr gè wèntí: běijīng de fēijī jǐ diǎn dào?
Second question: what time does the Beijing plane arrive?
大刚不知道，他看看小林。
Dà Gāng bù zhīdào, tā kànkan Xiǎo Lín.
Da Gang did not know. He looked at Xiao Lin.
小林说：“三点半。”
Xiǎo Lín shuō: “Sān diǎn bàn.”
Xiao Lin said, “Half past three.”
王老板问：“你怎么知道？”
Wáng lǎobǎn wèn: “Nǐ zěnme zhīdào?”
Boss Wang asked, “How do you know?”
小林说：“我昨天都写了。”
Xiǎo Lín shuō: “Wǒ zuótiān dōu xiě le.”
Xiao Lin said, “I wrote it all down yesterday.”
她给他们看本子。
Tā gěi tāmen kàn běnzi.
She showed them her notebook.
本子里有地图，也有很多字。
Běnzi lǐ yǒu dìtú, yě yǒu hěn duō zì.
The notebook has maps and many words.
大刚说：“你真认真！”
Dà Gāng shuō: “Nǐ zhēn rènzhēn!”
Da Gang said, “You are really serious!”
最后一个问题，小林也对了。
Zuìhòu yí gè wèntí, Xiǎo Lín yě duì le.
On the last question, Xiao Lin was also right.
王老板说：“小林最好！”
Wáng lǎobǎn shuō: “Xiǎo Lín zuìhǎo!”
Boss Wang said, “Xiao Lin is the best!”
他给小林一杯茶。
Tā gěi Xiǎo Lín yì bēi chá.
He gave Xiao Lin a cup of tea.
小林笑了：“谢谢老板！”
Xiǎo Lín xiào le: “Xièxie lǎobǎn!”
Xiao Lin smiled, “Thank you, boss!”
